OUR MISSION
"Winning the world for Christ one soul at a time"
WHAT WE BELIEVE

-
We believe in the absolute authority of the Bible. We believe that from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, it is the inspired and infallible Word of God. We further believe that the Bible and its clear, literal teachings are the ultimate authority for faith and practice in all aspects of life. (2 Timothy 3:16)
-
We believe that the first man and woman, in the persons of Adam and Eve, were created in holiness and innocence, but by voluntary disobedience; they fell from their sinless state and face to face fellowship with God. As a result, all humankind are born in sin, being sinners in need of God’s salvation and Christ’s atonement. (Genesis 3:1-19; Romans 1:18-32; Romans 3:10-18 & 23; Romans 5:10-21;)
-
We believe there is only one living and true God, Who is the Maker, Creator, and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth. He is infinite and all knowing; everywhere at once; inexpressibly glorious in holiness and all other perfections, and worthy of all praise, honor, faith, and love. We further believe that in the unity of the Godhead there are three Persons: the God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, Who are each equal in every divine perfection, and operate in distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of ruling all creation and in humankind’s redemption. (Exodus 20: 2,3; I Corinthians 8:6; I John 5:7)
-
We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. That He is God the Son, the second member of the Trinity Who became sinless flesh, being born of the Virgin Mary, according to Old Testament prophecy and dwelt among men on earth for the salvation of the world. (St John 1:14)
-
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son, and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; and that He is active in the world now. We believe that He empowers unbelievers to accept Jesus Christ as Savior; lives within believers, convicts of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; that He seals, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and helps the believer. We believe that He unites the Church of Jesus Christ and gives spiritual gifts to all believers. Genesis 1:1-3; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16,17 & 26; John 16: 8-11; Acts 5: 30-32; Ephesians 1:13,14; Luke 24: 49; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:14-16, 26 – 27; 1 Corinthians 12.
-
We believe that God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. We believe that the incarnate Son of God who came through 42 generations to save us is Jesus Christ. (St. John 3:16)
-
We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us into fellowship and relationship with God. (1 Corinthians 15:3; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24)
-
We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day according to the Holy Scriptures. We believe that He only, is the great High Priest, and we need not the intercession of any man, but that Christ ever lives to make intercession for us. (1 Corinthians 15:4; Hebrews 4:14-16)
-
We believe in the filling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter who was promised by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to all Christians. This indwelling, cleansing, and filling by the Holy Spirit is also known as being born again. (John 3:3-8; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19)
-
We believe that Christ will come again in person, bodily and visibly, to establish His Kingdom in the new Heaven and the new Earth. (Matthew 24:30-31; Revelation 1:7)
-
We believe that every truly born-again soul must openly declare his/her faith verbally. (Romans 10:9-10)
-
We believe in the two ordinances of the Baptist Church. Baptism is the immersion of believers in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, symbolizing death to sin and resurrection to new life. The Lord’s Supper proclaims and commemorates Christ’s sacrificial death on Calvary. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:41; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Romans 6:3-4)
-
We believe in obedience to the Great Commission given by our Lord in St. Matthew 28:19 & 20, and St. Mark 16:15-18, to Go into all the world, preaching and teaching the Gospel to all nations and to every creature. This is our missionary and evangelistic mandate from Christ.
-
We believe that each individual, local congregation of believers is free to act for and govern itself under the leadership of their pastor, officers, and chosen leaders.  Each congregation is free to operate as led by the Holy Spirit and, in accordance with the Bible, elect their own pastor and manage their own affairs. In the Protestant Baptist Church, there is no ecclesiastical hierarchy of bishops, synods, councils, or any other outside authority that oversees or governs groups of Baptist churches. Participation in Local Baptist Associations, State Baptist Conventions, and the National Baptist Convention does not negate or diminish the autonomy and self-governance of the Baptist Church. (Revelation 1:11 & 20)
-
We believe that the Church is not just a series of local entities scattered in many locations and denominations but is the worldwide Body of Christ which He purchased with His own Blood on Calvary. When an individual calls on the Name of the Lord and becomes saved, he/she becomes a member of the Body of Christ which is the worldwide and eternal Church. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 1:22-23)
